The MONFEMNET National Network aims to contribute & promotes women’s political and decision-making participation and influence at the national and local levels by strengthening women’s political participation and influence, and contributing to democratic, humanitarian and sustainable development based on gender equality and human rights.

In this context, a project to strengthen the political participation and advocacy capacity of Mongolian women was successfully implemented between 2015-2016 with the support of the US Secretary of State’s Women’s Affairs Foundation.

Training on “Women’s Political Participation and Influence” was organized for women political parties and independent candidates in 21 aimags and 9 districts, as a result of which 29 percent of the participants won the election.

Yesterday, on September 28, Representatives of the Network Coordinating Office and Chairman of the Board S.Dondov met with Ariel Wyckoff, Deputy Chief of Public Affairs at the US Embassy, ​​and E.Erdenetseg, Cultural Officer of the US Embassy, and gave information about the Network’s activities, values ​​and initiatives.
